Thomas Mack
Chief Executive Officer
Thomas Mack is the Chief Executive Officer of The Eyak Corporation (TEC) as of March 2022. Prior to joining TEC, Mr. Mack was the President and then President & CEO of an Alaska Native Regional Corporation since 2006.
In his new role as CEO of The Eyak Corporation, Mr. Mack is responsible for delivering on TEC’s mission to return financial benefits to present and future shareholders through the development of economic opportunities and growth of assets while protecting the ownership of ANCSA lands and Native cultural heritage. He actively promotes TEC’s positions on culture, education, and economic development issues. He conveys policy recommendations to government and community leaders on TEC-related legislation and policy issues.
Thomas Mack is an Aleut and was raised in King Cove, which is located on the tip of the Alaska Peninsula.
Mr. Mack attended the University of Nevada-Las Vegas and the University of Alaska-Anchorage where he acquired a Bachelor of Education degree. During his high school and undergraduate years, he spent the summer months commercial salmon fishing on his father’s boat.
Mr. Mack also holds a Master of Science degree from Western Oregon University and a Master of Business Administration degree from Alaska Pacific University. He also has completed two Executive Education Programs in Leadership at Stanford University; one at the University of Chicago Booth and two at Harvard University.
Mr. Mack was a Top 40 Under 40 recipient in 2009 in Alaska.
Mr. Mack is on the Board of Directors and Executive Committee for the Resource Development Council for Alaska, and a Vice-Chair for the Arctic Economic Council.
When he’s not working, Mr. Mack enjoys running, biking, hiking, skiing, reading, and traveling, including attending the World Cup every four years.
Brennan Cain
Vice President and General Counsel
Brennan Cain is Vice President and General Counsel for The Eyak Corporation, a position he has held since 2012. He also serves on the Management Board of Orca International Management, LLC. Brennan is a non-voting member of the corporation’s Communications, Descendant Issues, Donations, Governance, Land, and Shareholder Advisory committees.
Prior to his employment with TEC, Brennan was a partner in the law firms Timme & Cain and Middleton & Timme, where he worked primarily with Alaska Native Corporations on corporate, commercial, litigation and natural resource matters. He was a co-Chair of the Alaska Native Law Section of the Alaska Bar Association, serves on the BLM’s Alaska Resource Advisory Council, and is a member of the Alaska Native Village Corporation Association’s Land Committee.
Brennan received his Juris Doctor degree from the University of California, Davis, and his Bachelor of Science degree in Forestry and Wildlife Management from Virginia Tech. He lives in Anchorage with his wife Rebecca and their son.
Sue Jolin
Vice President of Finance
Sue Jolin is Vice President of Finance for The Eyak Corporation. She had served as TEC’s Senior Controller since her hiring in July 2015. Sue serves on the corporation’s Audit, Compensation, and Finance/Investment committees.
Prior to joining TEC, Sue worked for the Anchorage School District, serving in various roles for seven years, most recently as the Executive Director of Finance. She also worked for Era Aviation for five years holding various positions, including Assistant Controller. She grew up in Eagle River, Alaska.
Sue is a graduate of the University of Alaska Anchorage with a BBA in Business Management and Global Logistics Management and has an MBA from West Texas A&M University. In her free time, she loves to spend time with her husband and two children.
Heidi Johnson
Shareholder Services and Foundation Administrator
Heidi Johnson works in Shareholder Services for The Eyak Corporation, she is also the Eyak Foundation Administrator for The Eyak Foundation working alongside the Trustees to provide scholarships to our Shareholders and Descendants, helping them meet their educational goals.
Prior to joining TEC’s Team, Heidi worked for Chugach Alaska Corporation (CAC) in Shareholder Development supporting the VP, assisting in Shareholder hire, and Internship and Apprenticeship programs. Heidi was born and raised in Cordova, Alaska, and is an Eyak and Chugach Alaska Corporation Shareholder. She very much enjoys working with our Shareholders and Descendants. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her daughter and son.
Peggy Fisher
Senior Accountant and Executive Assistant
Peggy is the Senior Accountant & Executive Assistant for The Eyak Corporation. She serves on the Retirement Committee. Peggy came to us after working 20 years for the Anchorage School District, where she worked in various positions with the last 9 years as an Accountant.
Peggy grew up in New Jersey and came to Anchorage in 1981, where she raised her family. She loves the close proximity to the beautiful scenery and wildlife that Alaska has to offer. In her spare time, she likes to go on long hikes on the many trails in the Anchorage area.
Rockele Jones
Corporate & Financial Accountant
Rockele Jones is the Accountant for The Eyak Corporation and The Eyak Foundation. Prior to excepting the position at TEC, she worked at Good Day Pharmacy as the Accounts Receivable Manager for 8 years. She has also been an active Eyak Shareholder, where she served as a Trustee for The Eyak Foundation, Eyak Benefits Trust, and Eyak Permanent Fund Settlement Trust.
Rockele was born and raised in Cordova, Alaska. After graduating high school, she attended CNCC and The University of Northern Colorado where she received her BS in Accounting. She spent the last 26 years out in Colorado raising her daughter, but recently moved back to her home state. Rockele enjoys all sports, hiking and being outdoors, volunteering, and traveling the world with her daughter.
Bud Pryde
Facility Security Officer
Norman “Bud” Pryde is the Facility Security Officer (FSO) for The Eyak Corporation, a position he has held since 2008.
Prior to his employment with TEC, Bud served in the United States Air Force for 27 years retiring as a SMSgt (E-8) in 2007.
Bud received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Maryland University College and his Masters Degree from Liberty University in September 2016 in Pastoral Ministries. He lives in Clinton, Maryland with his wife Tia and they have one daughter who is currently serving on Active Duty in the United States Air Force.
Tiffany Beedle
Cordova Office and Lands Manager
Tiffany Beedle is the Codova Office & Lands Manager. She works in the Cordova office.
Before joining the Eyak Development Team, Tiffany worked at Ilanka Community Health Center as an Out Reach and Enrollment Specialist, which included Veterans and Elders.
Tiffany was born in Anchorage, Alaska. She spent her younger years in Tatitlek and Cordova, then moved to Eastern Oregon for her teenage years. She attended Central Oregon Community College for Business Administration. Tiffany moved back to Cordova in 2012. She is an Eyak Corporation Shareholder.
In her free time Tiffany enjoys being outdoors with her family and friends being active. She loves hiking, fishing, picking berries, and being on the water.
Aaliyah Tiedeman
Cordova Office Intern
Aaliyah Tiedeman is the student intern for The Eyak Corporation. She works in the Cordova office.
Prior to accepting the position at TEC, she worked at the Native Village of Eyak as an intern and receptionist for 3 years. Aaliyah is a TEC shareholder. She was born in Anchorage, Alaska and raised along with her two younger sisters in Cordova, Alaska. She is currently a senior at Cordova Jr./Sr. High School and will graduate this spring. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her friends, hiking, picking berries, traveling, and being outdoors.
